Now they helped

Me on my journey

Less tradition-centric

Than weren’t meant

For returning favor

Seeing as how

They were too big

To begin with

On grey mornings

Every boutique condominium

Blossoming on the block

Their original suits running

Now on Tesla time

Not altogether gathered inside

Of my childhood
Parked between
The service station
And municipal hall
Down the block
From the bar and grill
Where mystery turned
