You profess

You profess
Guilt
Openly furtive
And furry
As a squirrel
On a wire
Then digging
Digging
Then with
A mouthful
Of leaves

Who is guilty
Of the cold
That seeks
Its favor
Between the cracks
Indifferent to
Any saving
Race
