With that—here is an ought (after Emily Dickinson)

With that—here is an ought
To Poverty align
A Silence with a Thought
Together— with a Sign

Who would shun—to choose
Sums greater than a Part
Which knot Omit— too loose
Whose end denies the Art?

You made a way to Tie
Your Mind to coalesce—
Of course— to fast its Die
A Shape to nothing dress
